Elizabeth

Elizabeth has an extensive background in counselling. Having studied psychology and then theology with a counselling emphasis, she first served in Nigeria teaching Biblical counselling for five years. She now serves as a Biblical counsellor in three churches in the Munich area, supporting the pastors and elders in their shepherding of the flock with regard to sanctification and stability in Christ.

In the fall of 2020, the pastors and elders of the churches she works with, along with Mission to the World — her sending agency — asked Elizabeth to shift her ministry focus to the training and mentoring of more counsellors, to meet the growing needs of people asking for help. Her prayer is that this new focus will lead to a multiplication of Biblical counsellors in the city of Munich.

Elizabeth grew up in Calgary, where her mother and other family members reside.
