Kurt & Kim

Kurt and Kim Peters met at the coat rack in the hallway of Foothills, got married in the Chapel, sent two of their kids to preschool there while on Home Assignment, and have been proud to call Foothills home for many years.

All three of their kids — Sydney (2001, currently studying in Wales), Mateo (2003) and Isaiah (2007) — were born in Mexico, where Kurt and Kim first began their life as international workers, although the children feel more European these days: the family has been living in Spain since 2012. While in Mexico, they felt the Lord leading them to pursue both art and spiritual formation as a ministry, and He brought them to Spain, where they have been dedicated to this calling ever since.

Theirs is a creative-access ministry. Kim uses art as a means of reaching professional artists in Madrid, in Europe and internationally. Kurt serves on field and regional leadership teams, teaches at modular Bible schools, and sends out a weekly spiritual guide for individuals and groups in both Spanish and English. They love what they do, and are grateful to be there for such a time as this.
